Project Lovebird helps all birds that have experienced traumatic injuries, although we strongly focus on birds of endangered species. Through The Matthew E. Rives Prosthetics Lab which is where Project Lovebird designs, creates, and refines the prosthetic body parts for birds in need our group of studious volunteers are able to provide many different body parts such as prosthetic beaks, prosthetic wings, prosthetic legs, and even prosthetic feathers.

If you are the caretaker of a bird that may benefit from a prosthetic body part please fill out the form below and our Recipient Committee will review it promptly. Please note that all applications will be reviewed in the order in which they are received and a notice will be issued to the applicant upon completion of the review process.
