Founded in 2026, Project Lovebird was created to provide prosthetic body parts for birds who have experienced traumatic injuries. Our focus is simple, straightforward, and impactful in that we have a desire to help all birds undergoing rehabilitation while placing a strong focus on birds of endangered species.
Despite being founded rather recently, our small team of volunteers have worked tirelessly to play a part in the medical care of over 200 birds from 29 different species. Through a group of people that have a love for birds and with the 3D printers, knitting, soldering, and crafting our lab will continue to help as many birds as possible.
