The Matthew E. Rives Prosthetics Lab honors a very generous man for whom the lab is named. The lab features eight 3D printers, two soldering stations, two knitting stations, and one refinement table which are all used in the process of making a prosthetic body part for recipients.
When Mr. Rives approached Project Lovebird we couldn’t help but see his passion and love for birds. While Mr. Rives has worked with many different organizations and is also a well revered patron of the arts and other wildlife conservation efforts he maintains a special place in his heart for our avian friends.
